Confess your sins online on the internet now

Have sinned , feeling guilty .. wanna do something about it .... but dont wanna  speak to somebody about it . Its never been so easy  and you are guilt free immediately  and much  more relieved  maybe.

How do you do  it ?

Here is where the Online conffesion comes into play !!

Harlequin Enterprises, one of the world's largest publishers of romantic fiction, launched the site for people to post their guilty pleasures and for others to peruse them.

Overcome with guilt about a sordid affair or a secret facelift? A new interactive website is giving people an opportunity to anonymously confess their sins online.
It is also encouraging those who have confessed their indiscretions to take part in an interactive survey that will form the basis of its annual Romance Report which will be published in January.
“It really spawned from the reality shows and the talk shows and people opening up their lives and crying, not necessarily with the people they love but with strangers because it makes you feel better or it somehow cleanses you of your demons,” said Marleah Stout, a spokeswoman for the company.
The Internet already offers a variety of confessional sites ranging from mysecret.tv, launched by a US evangelical network, to postsecret.blogspot.com, a blog and art project in which people write their secrets on hand-made postcards.
But Stout said the site is more geared towards romance. “Although sometimes shocking and unexpected, confessions are also extremely romantic, bringing us closer to the people we love by revealing ourselves to them,” said Stout.
But Stout admitted the site is sure to draw plenty of cheating confessions and material that is much racier than most of the material in its romance novels.

The site, www.harlequinromancereport.com, is divided into eight sections -- one for each of the seven deadly sins and another for those hard-to-categorise indiscretions, secrets and fantasies.
Stout said the idea for the confessions site came after the Toronto-based company's highly-publicised casting call last spring for average men, not models, to pose for their book covers. “It's all about real people and real feelings.”

Just another scam letter -_+

HELLO Good day and Compliments,

(FROM  PRINCESS  NAFI)

I am writing this letter in confidence believing that if it is the wish of
God for you to help me and my family, God almighty will bless and reward you
aboundantly and you would never regreat this.
I am a female student from University of Burkina-Faso,uagadougou. I am 25
yrs old. I'd like any person who can be caring, loving and home oriented. I
will love to have a long-term relationship with you and to know more about
you. I would like to build up a solid foundation with you in time coming if
you can be able to help me in this transaction.
Well, my father died earlier eight months ago and left I and my junior
brother behind. He was a king, which our town citizens titled him over
sixteen years before his death.
I was a princess to him and I am the only person who can take care of his
wealth now because my junior brother is still young and my mother is not
literate enough to know all my father's wealth. He left the sum of 12.350 us
dollars.

(TWELVE MILLION THREE HUNDRED FIFTY THOUSANG )in a security
company. This money was annually paid into my late fathers account from Shell
petroleum development company(spdc)and chevron oil company operating in our
locality for the compensation of youth and community development in our
jurisdiction.
I don't know how and what I will do to invest this money somewhere in
abroad, so that my father's kindred will not take over what belongs to my
father and our family, which they were planning to do without my
present because I am a female as stated by our culture
in the town.

Now,i urgently need your humble assistance to move this money from the
security company to your bank account, That is why I felt
happy when I saw your contact because I strongly believe that by the grace
of God, you will help me invest this money wisely.
I am ready to pay 20% of the total amount to you if you help us in this
transaction and another 10% interest of Annual After Income to you, for
handling this transaction for us, which you will strongly have absolute
control over.
If you can handle this project sincerely and also willing to assist me in
lifting this fund, kindly reach me. .
Please, note that this transaction is 100% risk free and I hope to commence
the transaction as quick as possible, I will send you my photograph as soon
as I hear from you.
Yours sincerely,
(FROM  PRINCESS  NAFI)

Some history of brownlow

The Charles Brownlow Trophy, better known as the Brownlow Medal and colloquially as Charlie, is the medal awarded to the "best and fairest" player in the Australian Football League during the regular season (ie not including finals matches) as decided upon by umpires. It is regarded as the most prestigious award for individual players in the league. Though often referred to as the "best and fairest", the official terminology is "fairest and best", reflecting an emphasis on sportsmanship and fair play. It was named after a Geelong player and long-serving administrator who was active in the early days of the Victorian Football League, Charles Brownlow.

The new windows live writer beta 3 is released and its looking pretty good i must say.But hold on If your computer is not upto date on the updates or patches or for some reason you do not like installing unecessary microsft updates , you might find yourself unable to install the WLW beta 3 until you have updated the windows update engine onto your comp which the installer asks you to do .
Now i have used the new version on my laptop , but if a person just uses the wlw 3 justfor the convenience to write the blog post on comp and upload ,then i see no reason for changing
Now if you install from the live writer blog or microsoft it asks you for this update, but if you download from here http://www.download.com/Windows-Live-Writer/3000-2068_4-10665083.html?tag=lst-0-1 You do not get asked for the update to be installed
When Windows Live Writer starts, it uses the Windows Live Setup Service to check for updates. This Setup Service in turn uses Microsoft Update to check for updates.

Indian boy reincarnation of US scientist - ReincARNATION STORY

A 14-year-old boy from Rampur town of this district has become the subject of debate following his claim that he is the reincarnation of a US scientist. Rajesh, whose father is said to be "mentally unstable", is a Class 9 student and speaks only English with a garbled American accent although he has studied in Hindi medium and never been abroad. The "transition" occurred two years ago, according to his aunt Suresho with whom the 'wonder' boy is staying. She said the boy and his elder brother Manoj were making a mud house while playing when their father smashed it, and an infuriated Rajesh hurled a brick on his father's head leaving him bleeding profusely. "For two months after the incident, he stopped speaking. When he started speaking again, it was only in English... He has forgotten Hindi entirely," Suresho said. His friends and locals of the area think him to be "mad" but he says he is the "reincarnation" of a US scientist. Rajesh's aunt also seems to think so. "He is very sharp in Physics and Chemistry," she claims.

Cure ( medicine ) for aids Discovered !!

Dr Indrani Sarkar has has every reason to be excited. Her PhD thesis, which started in 2002 at the Max Planck Institute in Dresden, Germany, has thrown open the doors for developing enzymes that can destroy the dreaded Human Immuno-deficiency Virus or HIV within infected cells permanently.

Indrani and a team of scientists have developed an enzyme called Tre. Tre is a custom enzyme capable of detecting, recognising and destroying HIV, much like a pair of molecular scissors.

"In laymans terms, it's an engineered enzyme which recognises sequences in the HIV genome that is duplicated, integrated virus and by the process of recombination, it cuts out the virus from the genome," says she.

The biggest challenge with treating HIV today is that the virus becomes dormant and often develops resistance to HIV drugs.

The only way then to cure HIV is to get rid of the virus completely and Tre, the enzyme that Indrani constructed after a year and its 126 "cycles of mutation" totally deplete HIV in the human genome in three months in laboratory conditions.

"It's a beautiful approach, but like any other drug, this one too will take a few years to reach clinics — anywhere between five and 20 years actually. A lot of research has to be done because since one is working with a novel enzyme, one has to engineer the enzyme," says she.

According to the latest statistics given out by UNAIDS and WHO, there are close to 39.5 million people living with HIV/AIDS in the world and though it will be a while before an imminent cure is likely, Dr Indrani Sarkar's findings certainly hold out hope for the millions who are battling the disease across the globe.

The second funniest current affairs program on television after Today Tonight because today tonight is truly not a news series but a comedy .

Some >>> Chaser videos Here

After demolishing the reputation of security at the Asia-Pacific Economic Co-operation summit, the ABC's The Chaser's War on Everything did much the same to opposition networks with an extraordinary 2.24 million viewers on Wednesday night.

The new video of the Chaser APEC stunt, posted on their Myspace page, shows their fake Canadian motorcade being waved through police checkpoints on the edges of the APEC 2007 security zone in central Sydney.

It was ABC TV's third highest-rating program since 1991, after SeaChange and the Paralympics Opening Ceremony in 2000.

"I am a great fan," the ABC boss, Mark Scott, said. "I think they work incredibly hard and I am delighted for them for the success … "

Questioned about the ethics of the show, Mr Scott said the stunts in general were authorised by ABC management and legal advisers before scenes were filmed and broadcast.

The bungle that allowed the comedians close to the APEC red zone was made possible because security was lowered after the Prime Minister, John Howard, was delayed the day before by a locked gate and had to wait for a duplicate key to be found, the Seven Network reported. Osama Promo

The Chaser's executive producer, Julian Morrow, one of the team charged over the stunt, said: "Ratings have never been a factor in deciding what risks we take on The Chaser, until last night." Emo Washing Powder

The program's APEC footage obscured the faces of police officers who waved through its bogus motorcade, but Morrow denied that was for legal reasons.

"We did that because we didn't want to ridicule them individually," he said.

The ABC's new comedy Summer Heights High was seen by 1.37 million. The channel's only let-down on Wednesday night was an audience of 800,000 for The 7.30 Report, during which John Howard announced his retirement plans.

Hilarious Funny Joke

A couple lived near the ocean and used to walk the beach a lot.
One summer they noticed a girl who was at the beach pretty much every day.
She would approach people who were sitting on the beach, glance around furtively, then speak to them. Generally the people would respond negatively and she would  wander off,  but occasionally someone would nod and there would be a quick exchange of money and something she carried in her bag.
The couple assumed she was selling drugs, and debated calling the cops, but since they didn't know for sure they just continued to watch her.
After a couple of weeks the wife said, "Honey, have you ever  noticed that she only goes up to people with electronic devices?" He hadn't.
Then she said, "Tomorrow I want you to get a towel and our big radio and go lie out on the beach. Then we can find out what she's really doing."
Well, the plan went off without a hitch and the wife was almost hopping up and down with anticipation when she saw the girl talk to her husband and then leave. The man walked up the beach and met his wife at the  road.
Well, is she selling drugs?" she asked excitedly.
"No, she's not," he said.
"Well, what is it, then? What does she do?" his wife fairly  shrieked.
The man grinned and said, "Her name is Sally, and she's a battery salesperson."
"Batteries?" cried the wife.
"Yes," he replied.

The art of wine tasting

One of the most traumatic experiences of novice wine drinkers is the crucial 'nose' test. Can you actually smell that "toasty brioche"? Can you distinguish between a "herbaceous" smell and a "cedar" one? Are those "fresh red fruit" aromas tickling your olfactory nerves? Or are you just not sure what it is that you’re smelling? I’d say, it’s more likely to be the latter. UCD TKD Club Freshers Wine Reception Night Out - Down Under (September 2003)
The nose, of course, is the most important piece of equipment for a wine drinker. It ranks higher than even the tongue, and certainly more than the eye, though all three have to collaborate for the final verdict.
I often wonder whether it’s a genetic thing too — particularly since all those in the wine business seem to have distinctly long noses... “Does size matter?” I’ve often agonised, “Is my petite proboscis the cause of my doubts about wine aromas?”
Gallant Frenchmen and Italians in the wine business have reassured me that my nose in no way falls short of standards, but my dilemma with aromas persists. So I move to Theory 2: those guys are using the wrong words. Now THAT sounds more like it. wine
The words foreign “wine experts” use to describe aromas make no sense to the desi brain. Not enough, anyway. That was brought home to me once when I dropped in for a wine appreciation session conducted by an Australian wine rep.
“This has the distinct aroma of small goods,” he said in an Australian twang. The silence around the room signalled incomprehension to me; he thought it was agreement! When I told him later that neither I nor most people in the room had the foggiest notion what he was alluding to, he was genuinely surprised — and promised to be more culture-specific in his comparisons in future.
For the record, “small goods” means cured meats in Aussie-speak! That did it. From then on, I have been a crusader for an Indian dictionary of smells especially if wine experts move beyond broad descriptions like flowery and fruity to black cherry or lavender. UCD TKD Club Freshers Wine Reception Night Out - Down Under (September 2003)
Even the thickest person in Provence may know the smell of lavender but unless you love talcum powder, you’re unlikely to encounter it here. As for black cherries, they are only available as imports here and my upmarket grocer stocks them for Rs 900 per kg, which works out to Rs 10 per cherry.
Some of the most popular words to describe aromas are honey (for Sauternes or other sweet white wines), mineral and peach (Chablis), oak (red Bordeaux), toasty (Champagne) apple (Chardonnay) apricot (Sémillon), black fruit (older red wines), berries (young reds) black currant (Cabernet Sauvignon, Pauillac, St Estèphe), citrus (warmer Chardonnays), figs (Sémillon), melon (some Rieslings) pear (older whites) red fruits or raspberry ( Beaujolais) and strawberry (younger pinot noirs and pinotages).
Going beyond fruits, there’s cloves and truffles (older Bordeaux), chestnut (white Burgundy), vanilla (Beaujolais nouveau), black pepper (Syrah, Grenache, wines from Cotes du Rhone), even green bell pepper (Cabernet Franc, Cabernet Sauvignon), asparagus (Sauvignon blanc, Pouilly Fumé), violet and mushroom (some red Bordeaux), peppermint (Pinot Noir), buttery (Chardonnay) and even “cigar box” (cru classe Bordeaux).

Are electric Blankets harmful ??

Prolonged exposure to low-level magnetic fields, similar to those emitted by such common household devices as blow dryers, electric or electronic blankets and razors, can damage brain cell DNA, according to researchers in the University of Washington's Department of Bioengineering.

Exposure to low-level magnetic fields causes DNA damage

The scientists further found that the damage from brief exposures appears to build up over time. Day 005: Death By Electric Blanket?

The new study is scheduled to be published in Environmental Health Perspectives, a journal of the National Institute of Environmental Health Sciences, and is available now on the Internet.

In the study, the researchers discovered that rats exposed to a 60-hertz field for 24 hours showed significant DNA damage, and rats exposed for 48 hours showed even more breaks in brain cell DNA strands. Exposure also resulted in a marked increase in brain cell apoptosis, or "cell suicide," a process in which a cell self-destructs because it can't repair itself.

What is an electric blanket made?

An electric blanket is a bed covering with a built-in heating element so that a sleeper can maintain a desired temperature even in a cold room. Many consumers prefer electric blankets because their use can reduce home heating costs. The sophisticated temperature controls of modern electric blankets can sense changes in skin and air temperature and adjust settings accordingly. The most advanced model blankets are programmable, so they can pre-warm the bed at a certain time and shut off at a certain hour. They are also able to adjust temperature for the needs of two people in the same bed. Some blankets even compensate for the different heat needs of different parts of the body; for instance, sending more heat to the sleeper's feet while leaving the head area cooler. Approximately 4.5 million electric blankets are sold in the United States annually.

Why is electromagnetic radiation harmful?

Alters permeability of the blood brain barrier. The blood brain barrier is the body's special defense mechanism that prevents foreign substances from entering the brain.
Proliferates disease. Alters the behavior of cells, tissues, organs, and organisms.
Alters biological cycles. Disrupts motor functions.
Alters hormone levels, cellular chemistry, and immune system processes.
Can cause chromosomal damage & sterility. Causes defects, developmental abnormalities and alterations in embryos. Accelerates fetal mortality rates. Miscarriage is much higher among pregnant women who use electric blankets than those who do not.
Causes cataracts and eye problems.
Alters moods. Creates fatigue, depression, fear, and disorientation.
Alters learning ability. Causes memory loss.
A pulsating low-intensity EMF (one that's cycling on /off) will cause a release of noradrenaline in most people within 15 minutes. This may result in increased hospital admissions during times of magnetic disturbance.
Increases rate of cancer-cell division; increases incidences of certain cancers.
Leukemia and other cancers increase greatly among people living near overhead power cables (shown by studies in America, England & Sweden). Sweden's government lists EMFs, along with tobacco, as a Class-2 Carcinogen. Plant growth is stunted as far away as 1,000 feet from power lines.morning, bed

Protecting Yourself
from Cyber Radiation

Sleep
Since most of us spend 6-9 hours in one place during sleep, it is important not to have any health hazards present that affect us repeatedly. EMFs from wiring, electric blankets, fans, etc., can be dangerous, as these fields impinge on the pineal gland, suppressing its production of the hormone melatonin. This can cause the liver to be unable to achieve its proper nighttime detoxification mode. Further, during sleep the normal detoxification process is blocked by electromagnetic stress on the meridians of the liver, gallbladder, lungs and large intestine. To reduce or eliminate EMF effects, unplug the appliances in your bedroom: heaters, lamps, waterbed heaters, clock radios, fans. Use your electric blanket only to warm the bed, then unplug it from the socket to avoid any residual current.

Is it safe to use an electric blanket while pregnant?

Concerns have been raised regarding the use of electric blankets or other heating devices such as heating pads or heated water beds while pregant. There is little scientific evidence to prove one way or the other whether these devices may be harmful. There are two areas that should be looked at: electromagnetic fields and body temperature.

Some long-standing research data suggests that the extremely weak electromagnetic field generated by objects such as electric blankets are biologically harmless. Some studies contradict this claim, suggesting that these weak electromagnetic fields may contribute to changes in stress level, memory lapse, cancer, miscarriage or impaired fetal development. These studies, by their own admission, are inconclusive, as they cannot prove that cell damage in test tube experiments is replicated in actual human beings

Turn on the Electric Blanket This Winter

Electric blankets have been a focus for years when talk turns to harmful electromagnetic fields in the house, but now research shows that it's the rest of the bedroom scientists should have been looking at.

The study says modern electric blankets are safe, but exposure to electromagnetic fields elsewhere in bedrooms or from nearby high-voltage power lines may reduce the nighttime production of the hormone melatonin for certain women. And, some scientists theorize that reduced melatonin levels may be linked to an increased risk of breast cancer.

Huzzah! Hooray! The bathroom is finished!
Bathroom
Most of the items are sourced in last post so check there if you want to know where everything came from.
So, yeah. I went with option #6, with the white vanity Bathroom Redo [Renderings] I was going to go for option #2 with the dark brown, but I changed my mind once we switched to the new, white medicine cabinet.
There are little vingnettes here and there, to distract you into thinking that the bathroom was not once anugly, confused mess.
Cuteness
Top o' the medicine cabinet
I actually think the bathroom is kinda cute now! And we did the whole thing for only a few hundred dollars, which was of course the goal. We also painted twice, which was not the goal (haha), to arrive at the lovely green we have now.
Bathroom
I even painted and brought the teal/turquoise color over by way of plastic bins to the storage area:
bathroom storage
That's "my side". It wasn't too bad before, but I thought "hey, why not double my work?" because that is how I roll. The frames that we had hung in our previous bathroom are up there now. They're just ads from a British magazine (for Marks + Spencer), but I love them! I think they're perfect over by my makeup and girly things.
Oh, and we hung a silver letter 'B'.
'B' for Balch, 'B' for Blue, 'B' for Bathroom, 'B' for Better!

Top websites for free and legal music , mp3 and songs or royalty free music , You can use use in your homemade videos to earn Cash on Youtube , metacafe and other viral video sites

Nowadays there is much reported about the rise of illegally copied music being made available on the Internet. However, there is also plenty of music on the web that is free and legal. In this post we look at ten sites or services that offer free legal music to download.

Music Search Engines - All the Music Search Engines

ArtistServer.com
ArtistServer.com ArtistServer has been around since 2001, albeit under the name ElectronicScene.com. In 2005 they transformed the site to widen their scope and incorporate social networking features. At its core is a database of over 7,000 songs that can be downloaded for free. An artist’s catalog also has an RSS feed that can be subscribed to like any other feed, allowing the user to keep up to date with any new additions. Photos, videos and blogs from artists complete this interesting site.

Live Music Archive
Archive.org The Live Music Archive has a large collection of live recordings from a wide range of artists, from David Gray to Mogwai, and there is also a lot of music from lesser known bands. The site runs a policy which does not adhere to any particular set of laws, and states so in its Terms and Conditions, and makes the user responsible for making sure that the content is legal in their own country.

Archive.org
Hand in hand with the Live Music Archive is archive.org’s collection of regular mp3s, including a good selection of out-of-copyright music. Although only hardcore fans of pre-1950s music will find this interesting for now, I expect this to become more and more important as time goes on — the early Beatles tracks are due to become public domain in only five years! Update: aside from out of copyright music, there are lots of contemporary tracks available, released under a Creative Commons license.

eSpew.com - Free Online MP3 Music Search Engine

Epitonic
Epitonic Epitonic has a great selection of free tunes, ranging from Grandaddy and Mercury Rev, through to Carl Cox, Mr Scruff, Badly Drawn Boy and TV On The Radio. The site is a little confusing at first, but once you work out where the genre and artist lists are, its fairly simple from there on in. Epitonic also has a large number of online radio stations based on several genres and subgenres that are worth a listen.

GarageBand
GarageBand The mighty GarageBand, the unsigned band promotion and social review network, has proved to be the catalyst for success for a few bands in the States. After uploading their tracks on GarageBand and then being favourably rated, they have gone on to be offered contracts and even made it to the Billboard charts (the band “10 Years” hit number one with “Wasteland” in 2006 by doing just this). The site covers a wide range of genres and offers a large number of tunes for download. The majority of artists will be unknown to most people, due to the nature of the site, but the review and rating system makes it easy to pinpoint and listen to the most popular tracks.

Download.com
Download.comCNET’s Download.com offers a music section which combines an online store and a repository for free and less widely known music. Fortunately they’ve realised that a lot of people come by solely for the free tracks and have provided a direct link. Again, the music is generally from unknown and unsigned artists, but the range and quantity of material here is staggering — at the last count it stood at 75,425 free MP3s!

SpiralFrog
SpiralFrog Bit of a blind recommendation this one, but SpiralFrog has just entered limited beta, with a view to launch later this year. Its proposed model is interesting — downloads will be free, from a number of labels (Universal seems to be the biggest backer at the moment) with a potential catalogue of 700,000+ tracks, but users will be made to view advertisements while each track is downloading. I dont know how this will work in practice (i.e. will download speeds be throttled back to give more advertising time) but in theory it sounds like a good deal. Unfortunately the service is only available in the US and Canada at the moment, but I expect it to be available in other countries if it takes off in North America.

Amazon.com
Amazon.com The popular one-stop-shop has a small selection of tracks available for download for free. These are changed regularly, but are often by known artists.

iTunes
iTunes Its also worth mentioning that Apple’s music store also offers free tracks, usually by up and coming artists. The list varies depending on which country you are in. [Ed. this website keeps track of what music is being offered for free on iTunes each week.]

eMusic
eMusic eMusic is a digital music store that doesn’t offer free downloads per se, but I thought it was worth including because some of the introductory offers let you download 100 free tracks in the first month, after which you’re free to can cancel your membership and it wont cost a penny!

Note: We’ve probably only scratched the surface, so if you know of any more places on the web where you can download free and legal music, please add those in the comments.
